Our Nature, Wildlife and Wellbeing AQA Unit Programme, is suitable for young people aged 7-18, including neurodiverse young people and those with SEND or Mental Health Needs.
Our AQA Unit Programme is designed to support both learning and wellbeing by blending practical activities with emotional support. In addition to gaining 5 AQA Certifications, your child will build a coping toolkit of activities to support their wellbeing. This includes Mindfulness strategies, breathing exercises and activities to support emotional expression.
Unlike typical school-based programmes, our provision is led by a multidisciplinary team of therapists, which includes Clinical psychologists, Speech therapists, Counsellors, Mental Health Professionals, Arts Psychotherapists, Play therapists and Occupational therapists. Our team are skilled in carefully weaving activities to support Mental Health and Wellbeing into Nature based activities.
As part of the programme of wellbeing support, we offer in person meet ups led by our therapy team, online live sessions led by therapists and virtual graduation and celebration events.

What is an AQA Unit Award?
An AQA Unit Award is a Certificate of Achievement from one of the UK's biggest examination boards.
To gain an AQA Unit Award, candidates submit a portfolio of evidence and receive a certificate to recognise their achievement. The scheme boosts confidence, increases engagement and improves motivation, helping students to make progress, build their CV and prepare for future qualifications.
The Nature, Wildlife and Wellbeing AQA Unit Programme is designed to provide students with flexibility and engaging learning experiences that cater to their needs. It will be delivered through:
Self-Paced Online Learning: Students will have access to 17 weeks of short, self-paced videos that introduce key content and support them in completing their assessment portfolios. This allows students to learn at their own pace and revisit content as needed.
Hands-On Activity Box: Each student will receive a Nature, Wildlife and Wellbeing Activity Box. The boxes will provide hands-on experiences to complement the online learning and help students explore the natural world around them.
Live Expert-Led Sessions: Over the course of the programme, students will participate in three live sessions with experts in wildlife, conservation, and mental health. These interactive sessions will offer opportunities to ask questions, engage in discussions, and expand on the knowledge gained through self-paced learning. Recordings of the sessions will also be available.

We know many young people can struggle to engage in conventional mental health support. Our team carefully weave activities to support Mental Health and Wellbeing into Nature based activities, like Nature Art, Wildlife Photography and Nature Connection work.
All our therapists provide neurodiversity affirming support and many are neurodiverse themselves. All our therapists are also trauma informed so you can be confident that your child is receiving high quality support on the programme.
The total cost for the programme is £195, which includes weekly self paced classes, 3 live expert sessions, a Nature, Wildlife and Wellbeing Activity Box, tutor support, assessment and all AQA registration fees.
You can pay in full or access our monthly payment plan, making an initial deposit of £32.50 and 5 further payments of £32.50 to help spread the cost.
If you are likely to struggle with payments you can email our team to request costs be spread over 12 months, with 12 monthly payments of £16.25.
For learners who may prefer more challenging content, our partners, Adventure Green offers the Green Skills AQA Unit Award Programme at Level 1 and 2, developing in-demand STEM skills and confidence in the same accessible manner.
